Justice is a fair end result to cases that are difficult to solve in the begging of any case. Justice can be defined many ways. The American Heritage Dictionary (2003) defines justice as the quality of being just and fair. But what is just and what is fair? Everyone in todays society could define justice in their own way, and in a way which best matches their own moral and ethical character. Criminal Justice in todays society is over whelming with fears of being wrongly accused for a crime that was not committed by that individual. On a personal level I can really relate to this topic because I have been around it for all of my life I have friends and family that have been the the justice system for some time. The Criminalist field is a hard one to do cause of the many different people that you come into contact with all the way from criminals to family members of the victims to sometimes the victims themselves. The is a saying that goes around my work that say if you are dumb enough to know that dna can and will convict you, so if you commit a crime just remember if you think you got rid of evidence you may have to the naked eye, but to a criminalist you have given us a present of evidence that could and probably will be the end for you. In a couple of cases that I worked on in the past I have had a single mother of 5 that had been at the wrong place at the wrong time, she was charged with an accessory to murder when the truth was that she didn’t even know the victim in the case and the her prints were not on any of the evidence that was found at the scene of where the crime took place. The crime lab that I work for did everything that we could do according to the law, and the family of the victim was very upset with the fact that she was placed at the scene of the crime and yet her fingerprints were not on any of the evidence, and so they thought that we were taking side with her and making the evidence follow how we thought the case should be solved. The family of victim tried to sue us for letting a murder go free, and not bring justice to their family for the daughter’s death. When all we did was follow the evidence in accordance with law. The second case involved a man who thought that he was smarter than the criminalist on the case because he thought that by cleaning up after the crime that he had removed any and all the evidence that we could not place him at the scene but he didn’t know the many different ways that we used to gather the evidence against him the lead to him being charged and ultimately being convict of rape. He told the judge that we placed is DNA at the scene of the crime. When the DNA evidence was not saliva which is what we gathered from him but was his blood because the victim in this case cut him with her fingernails. In conclusion people who are victims of crimes or families of those who are no longer with us need to understand that when evidence is gathered at a scene it is gathered it’s what the evidence says about how all the evidence comes together to achieve one final result in any case. Back to my thesis statement that said Justice is a fair end result to cases that are difficult to solve in the begging of any case, and also that no matter the outcome that people have in a case that the true criminal is convicted of the crime that they really [really is a weak word meaning not imaginary. Now, the federal government regularly contributes to assisting the a dministration in control of the Department of Justice and makes a number of critically important recommendations. It is suggested that the greatest involvement of federalism in law enforcement that was ever witnessed in the US history was during the Nixon Administration (Meese). It was under the governance of late US President Nixon that federalism really picked momentum and gained confidence in the actual functioning process of law enforcement. Prior to the Nixon rule, there was hardly any noticeable presence of federalism, but following that and in every successive governing period the Congress is seen to be considerably influenced by this particular political ideology. While many potential benefits are offered by federal involvement in crime control and justice department, there are also some disadvantages. Critics see many problems attached to federalism playing a potential role in local crime control in each state and it is even thought that the underlying motives of federal in volvement can be unauthentic and flawed. The influence inflicted by federalism on local law enforcement agencies is undeniable, but it cannot always be justified or considered necessary. It is one of the not so positive impacts produced by federalism on the legal system of the US that whenever the Congress perceives any law or penalty to be politically outstanding and practical, it decides to sign it and implement it in the state even when it is not necessary and regardless of the nature of the law. The bedrock of the federal system is constructed by effective distribution of control between the national and state governments (Federalism Overview). The legal system in the US is heavily inspired by the political philosophy of federalism which explains why all 50 self-governing states in the US have the power to define their own standards which may not be similar to those of the federal government. Both national and state governments are in charge of devising very important national p olicies which have huge repercussions for the public. But, there is a division of control between the central government and each of the 50 states and the roots of this division are entrenched in federalism. By so doing, he is revealing his strong place in society as that of a domineering male character. In the end, he is reduced to the status of a woman by his successful challenger who uses a knife to carve labium marjoram on his cheek. According to Raines the characters sex life has all the qualities of a fighter at war. This is further explained by the encounter O’ Shaughnessy has with Denise. The two are described as making love as fighters with physical violence and physical abuse. O’ Shaughnessy sees Denise as masculine in appearance and behavior. She is given the qualities of a kind lean force with muscles of a young boy who is aggressive (Raines 72). Raines further desc ribes the character as one who admires the qualities that Denise has like; pride, intelligence, one with the force of will and an independent individual. He further wishes to have these qualities because he believes by that he can acquire them by defeating Denise and turning her into a more passive and submissive woman. Raines further argues that O’Shaughnessy sees himself as a hero (73). He sees his sexual dominance as a force that is revitalizing and one which allows him to successfully, win in all the situations of life. He is seen quoting his penis as the avenger (73) because it serves as a symbol of weapon in the war. Raines continues her argument that, in a, sexiest society, the sexual power is the most valuable item in the social and cultural power. After the encounter with Denise, O’ Shaughnessy is portraying the quality of dominance. In that, he says he must make Denise dependent on him (73) by bringing her to her first orgasm. He believes this will make him s ure of victory at last. He is quite startled by Denise when she proves that she is a skillful opponent. Denise reveals to him that he has a feminine side that he does not know. This is because O’ Shaughnessy action in mouth love was passionate. The Sun Also Rises [I cannot express to you how glad I am that I am taking this class. I am thoroughly enjoying Hemingway. The Sun Also Rises is one of the best books I've read in quite a long time. For a while there, I was, for God knows what reason, taking Physics and Chemistry and Biology. It is really an adventure to be back with books and words and reading. I am also amazed that I never could read more of Him when it wasn't an assignment. And how is it that when I am told to write "a 3-5 page essay" I can only come through with two-and-a-half, but a "one-page response" always wants to be twenty pages long?] I finished reading SAR around ten o'clock tonight. I could have taken it all in one big gulp when I began a week ago, but I couldn't do that. It wanted me to bring it out slowly, so I often found myself reading five or ten pages and laying it aside to absorb without engulfing. A man gets used to reading Star Wars and pulp fiction and New York Times Bestsellers and forgets what literature is until it slaps him in the face. This book was written, not churned out or word-processed. Again, I thoroughly enjoyed reading. I never noticed it until it was brought up in class, maybe because it wasn't a point for me in In Our Time, but He doesn't often enough credit quotations with, ",he said," or, ",said Brett," or, ",Bill replied." In SAR it stood and called attention to itself. I wasn't particularly bothered by His not telling me who said what, but it was very...pointed. I first noticed around the hundredth page or so. Then I realized I couldn't keep track of who was speaking. By not dwelling on it, though, sort of (hate to say this) accepting it, I managed to assign speech to whomever I felt was speaking. Gradually I came to enjoy it, in another plane of reading, figuring out from whom words were originating. To not notice it, as if it were one of those annoying 3-D posters that you can't see until you make a concerted effort not to try and see, became simple - much like those 3-D pictures are once you know what not to look for. (I abhor ending sentences with prepositions...) His not telling was heightening to the story. It made things come even more alive. Between 100 and 600 C.E., Rome underwent significant cultural and political changes. Culturally, the empires religious beliefs had changed, resulting in the predominance of Christianity. Politically, Rome’s economy divided. As for continuities, paterfamilias and women’s right remained the same throughout the time period. Religion was a large part of the roman culture, and made a major change to Christianity. When Rome was still n early empire, Paganism, where there was a belief in multiple gods, was the main religion. Initially the poor were the first to switch to Christianity, which later spread to the higher classes of society. The religion was rejected in 100 C.E., but Constantine legalized it in 313 C.E. The Roman Empire was quickly enveloped by Christianity and took over the other religions. A major political change was the division of the once united Roman Empire into the Byzantium to the East, and Rome remaining in the West. Rome was so massive that under one ruler, it was impossible to make everyone happy, which led to dividing the empire. Because of economic and leadership issues, Germanic tribes tried to take over the land to the east and west. Rome had to split its force to fight them, ultimately adding to the chaos that divided the empire. Women’s right had remained constant throughout the time period. Unlike in China and India women, mainly of the upper class, would have a larger participation in business and work. Woman were able to attend schooling together or similar to men at public schools, and attended religious and social events. Paterfamilias was another continuity in 100 to 600 C.E. Rome. The male father had complete control over his family, and his children’s full lives. This included occupations, spouses, possessions, he could even legally kill them.

From the time Adolf Hitler came into office in 1933, up to the time when Germany surrendered to the Allied forces and Hitler committed suicide in 1945; the future for Germany became strongly invested in the hands of the younger generations. The Hitler Youth was a paramilitary organization formed in 1926. It gave kids excitement, adventure and new heroes to idolize. Hitler admired young kids drive, energy and strong love for Germany. He recognized these qualities and made it part of his plan to control the future world but the real question is why did Adolf Hitler pick children for his future?
